
Muhammad R. Damm is a lecturer at the Faculty of Languages and Arts, Indraprasta PGRI University, Jakarta. Some of his writings, both written individually and with other researchers, have been published in various scientific journals, such as Economics & Sociology, Journal of Indonesian Social Sciences and Humanities, and Antropologi Indonesia. The flexibility to use a variety of paradigms, approaches and research methods allows him to work in a wide range of fields, including spatial conceptions of rural communities, historical narratives and collective memory, as well as existentialism and philosophical anthropology.

Muhammad Irvan, M.Si joined Asia Research Centre (ARC) UI on March 2022, he is also a research associate at one of LabSosio’s (Centre for Sociological Studies) Research Cluster which is focused on Relation Between Community and Extractive Industries, includes oil and gas industry, mining industry, and palm oil industry. Since 2006, his research focused on corporate social responsibility (CSR), community development (CD), social relation, social conflict in extractive industries, and social planning.

Hari Nugroho is a lecturer at the Department of Sociology, Universitas Indonesia, and PhD candidate at the Institute of Cultural Anthropology and Development Sociology, Leiden University. His primary research areas include labour, social movements, social exclusion and inequality, particularly in Indonesia. His articles have been published in Democratization, Labour and Management in Development, Global Dialogue, Inside Indonesia, etc. He is currently a member of the editorial board of Masyarakat Jurnal Sosiologi, Jurnal Studi Pemuda, and Global Dialogue (International Sociological Association).

Ardhanareswari Handoko is a faculty member at the Department of Communication, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Universitas Indonesia. Previously a former journalist, she is currently the Secretary of the Undergraduate Programme. Her research interest includes journalism, digital journalism, user-generated content, audience engagement, as well as journalist and social media.

Rhino Ariefiansyah is a Lecturer and Researcher in the Department of Anthropology at Universitas Indonesia. He has degrees in Cultural Anthropology from Universitas Indonesia and in Arts and Politics from SciencesPo, Paris. Rhino is interested in human ecology, environmental and climate change, and migration.
