ID This study aims to throw light on the role local social researchers played in and for COVID 19 response policies in and across Asia. It seeks to build a better understanding of interactions between social researchers and academia, the state and society in the region, with a view to strengthening national and regional efforts to build more resilient and equitable societies in South-East Asia.
