Dave Lumenta, Ph.D., is an anthropologist and lecturer at the Department of Anthropology, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP), University of Indonesia. He earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Indonesia in 1997 and then obtained his doctorate in Southeast Asian Area Studies from Kyoto University, Japan, in 2008. Her dissertation was titled "The Making of a Transnational Continuum: State Partitions and Mobility of the Apokayan Kenyah in Central Borneo, 1900-2007" reflects his research focus on social mobility and identity in Southeast Asia. Apart from being an academic, Dave is also active as a musician and film composer, involved in various music and film projects, including works directed by Edwin.
