Asri Saraswati, Ph.D., is an academic and researcher in the field of cultural and literary studies, currently serving as Assistant Professor at the English Department, Faculty of Cultural Sciences, University of Indonesia. She earned her Ph.D. in American Studies from the State University of New York at Buffalo. Dr. Saraswati's research focuses on themes such as race and culture, migrant literature, and postcolonial studies, with several publications exploring the relationship between fashion and identity in a global context. Her works have been published in various scientific journals and often discussed in international seminars. In addition, she is active in curriculum development and education in the field of English literature, as well as being involved in various research initiatives aimed at improving understanding of social and cultural dynamics in Indonesia and beyond.
